ABOUT TRACTION WEEK

Traction Week is seven days away from your normal life, designed to help you finally make something happen.

Not a wellness retreat. Not a motivational seminar. Not a holiday with a few workshops bolted on. Just space to think, time to work, and a small group of people who are actually doing the work alongside you.

The only requirement: arrive with something you want to make happen. Leave having moved it forward.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Traction Week isn't built around a job title. It's built around a situation:

You know there's something you want to make happen. You've known for a while. And normal life — the noise, the priorities, the thousand smaller things — keeps getting in the way.

That could be a founder launching something new. A freelancer or consultant ready to change direction. A creative finally making the leap from side project to real thing. A senior professional who's plateaued and knows it. Anyone with an idea, a decision, or a problem they've been sitting on.

This isn't for you if:

  • You're looking for a holiday, not a working week
  • You want someone else to hand you a plan, rather than work on your own
  • You're not ready to actually commit to one thing for seven days

If you've got something you want to make happen — and you're finally ready to do something about it — this is for you.

THE DESTINATION

This isn't a business park with a nice view.

Marrakech is loud, warm, and completely unlike wherever you're stuck right now — which is exactly the point. Courtyards built for thinking. Food that doesn't taste like a work trip. Markets, rooftops, mint tea, the call to prayer at dusk. A place people choose to visit for its own sake, not because a retreat happened to book it.

Mornings here don't feel like an office. Evenings don't feel like a work trip. The work happens because everything else does too.

A short flight from most of Europe. A world away from your inbox.

THE ACCOMMODATION

You don't do your best thinking in a room that looks like every other room you've ever worked in.

Every riad we use is chosen for the same reason: it doesn't feel like anywhere you've been stuck before. Traditional Moroccan architecture, considered down to the last tile — carved plasterwork, cool courtyards, a rooftop that catches the evening light. The kind of place that makes you want to sit down and finally start, not scroll past on your way to a meeting room.

Your room is your own — private, ensuite, a proper double bed, air conditioning throughout so the heat never gets in the way of the work. Fast wifi, real common areas, dedicated space to work when you want company and a quiet corner when you don't. A pool for the moments you need to step away completely.

Riads don't carry a star rating, but the standard is five-star in everything but name — daily cleaning, serious security, every detail considered before you arrive. All of it a few minutes from the Medina, most within walking distance, so the city is always right there when you want it.

Breakfast is a proper Moroccan spread, included every morning. Lunch comes with it if you're Fuelled Up — otherwise, the Medina's on your doorstep.

PRICING & INCLUSIONS

Two tiers. No surprises. Dinner's always on you — join the group table, or go find your own.

FAQs

Is this only for founders/entrepreneurs?

No. Traction Week works for anyone with something they want to move forward — a business, a career decision, a creative project, a plan that's been stuck. See "Who This Is For" above.

Will I have my own room?

Yes — by default, every guest has their own room: at least a double bed, private ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, and daily cleaning.

Do I have to take part in the group activities?

No. Everything outside the protected morning work block is optional — dinners, clinics, cultural activities, the Manifest, Show & Tell. The only requirement is arriving with something to work on and leaving having moved it forward.

What if I don't know exactly what I want to work on yet?

That's fine. Most people arrive with a rough idea and sharpen it before Sunday's Manifest. What matters is you're ready to commit to something by the time the week starts.

Can I come solo?

Yes — around 90% of our guests do.

What happens if I need to cancel?

More than 4 weeks before your trip, you'll get a full refund of what you paid, minus €100. Within 4 weeks of your trip, the full amount is non-refundable.

Do I need a visa for Morocco?

Most EU, UK, and US passport holders don't need a visa for short stays — but requirements vary by nationality, so check the full visa policy for Morocco for your specific situation before booking.

Is my payment secure?

Yes — we use established, trusted payment processors for all bookings.

What if the minimum group size isn't reached?

We typically run with at least 5 people. If a cohort doesn't reach that, we'll refund you in full or let you rebook another Traction Week — though this hasn't happened so far.
