I have ADHD.
Some days my own house is the worst possible place to get anything done — everything in it is a reminder of everything else I haven't done yet. The only thing that's ever reliably worked is leaving. New space, new environment, no history in the room, and the thing I've been circling for months just happens.
Traction Week started as a way to build that deliberately, instead of waiting for it to happen by accident. Turns out I'm not the only one whose brain works this way — stuck isn't usually about ability or ideas, it's about environment. Change the environment, and people who've been stuck for months move in days.
That's the whole idea. Not another retreat that promises transformation and delivers a nice photo. Somewhere genuinely beautiful, a small group of people who are actually doing the work, and seven days built around one thing: whatever you've been meaning to do.
What it's become
Traction Week now runs in Marrakech and Marbella, with more places on the way. Every cohort is small — 10 to 15 people — because the whole point is a room full of people who are actually building things, not a crowd. Every week ends the same way it starts: someone said what they wanted to do, and by the end, they'd moved it forward.
I still come to most of them. Partly because I built this for people like me, and partly because — turns out — I still need it too.
If you've got something you've been meaning to do, this is for you.
